Murcia’s producing and exporting companies of fruit and vegetables found in Fruit Logistica 2009 a new opportunity to increase their volume of contacts with wholesalers and retail traders, and to strengthen its already established sales networks.
During the event the region presented to major importers, distributors and supermarket chains an innovative project named “Murcia’s agriculture as a sink for CO2”, as well as its trademark “Less CO2”.
The Murcian delegation included the Export Association PROEXPORT, with the aim of strengthening the traditional European markets, particularly Germany, UK and Netherlands as well as Eastern European markets. “After the difficult time that Spanish agriculture has been facing, it's time to boost our sales in European markets and this requires being close to our clients to understand their needs, strengthening trade relations and improving our competition", said PROEXPORT president Juan Marín Bravo.
The Murcian companies exhibiting with Proexport were: Agrícola Santa Eulalia, A. Teresa Hermanos, G.H. Murciana de Vegetales, Looije Águilas, O.P. Agromark, G’s Pascual Hermanos y Pozosur. Resides them, Kernel Export, Hortiberia (photo below), Procomel y Soltir completed the group of accociated companies that exhibited at the stand of the Region of Murcia. Additionally Agrar Systems, Difrusa Export, Fruca Marketing, Frutas Esther, S.A.T. Durán y S.A.T. Primaflor were other Murcian companies exhibited along with them. |
